Urban life in a globalizing world
| Me and the rest of
the project group would like to thank all the participants of
the IFEJ Stockholm 2006 conference. I think we all have learned
a lot from each other. Not only about environment but also about
cultures, politics and not to forget the importance of caring
and respecting each other. The IFEJ Stockholm 2006 website will be open until March 2007, but we now hand over the honor as organizers to the team representing Nairobi, Kenya, to host the 2007 years annual meeting. It has been an interesting, intensive and absolutely fantastic time working with IFEJ Stockholm 2006. To finally meet everyone made all the late nights and early mornings worth the effort. IFEJ general assembly
Since 1993, environmental-journalists
from all over the world meet once a year in a different place to discuss
professional issues, exchange on up-to-date enviro-news, organize training
sessions and learn from one another. Every year, journalists or journalist
associations from a country host this meeting and work out the agenda.
After the recent conferences in Russia and India, the 2006 meeting will
be hosted and organized in Stockholm by the swedish colleagues – in
advance we thank them for doing this job.
